Halloween, ah Halloween. That special time of the year when your neighbors put up decorations in their front yard that would be considered grotesque at any other time or place. And when the most horrific movies are played over and over on television ("Texas Chainsaw Massacre", anyone?). We don't watch those here. Anyway, I digress..... on to Halloween at the ol' homestead...
We had a lion and a ladybug for Halloween this year. The lion was initially reluctant to wear his head at our church's annual Fallapalloza celebration at the Highway Mountain View campus. However, he was quickly distracted by all the fun things to do, such as decorating his own cookie, fishing for toys and candy, and playing in the balloon section. All in all, Halloween was more fun this year than last year (last year Brandon cried when he saw himself in his mouse costume! That just made me feel so great as a mother.)
The ladybug....
the lion attempting to hug the ladybug (no good ever comes of this idea...)
