Today Brandon asked me what a swamp was. I pulled out my photo album from a trip to Louisiana and showed him pictures of the swamps and of the alligators that followed our boat. Later, he asked me what Big Ben was. I pulled out another photo album and proceeded to show him Big Ben from a trip to London.
Oh, the places I use to go! My days of travel. I do miss them. I wanted to be a mom, and we wanted to have children, and God has granted my wishes. I still miss the freedom to travel and see the world. I hope that we can do that again in the future. I really hope that we can take Brandon and Caitlin along when they are older so that they can see all the wonders the world has to offer.
